The long-term objective of the community bike system being implemented within the framework of the project is to encourage the spreading of cycling as an environmental-friendly mode of transport among residents and tourists while popularizing tourist attractions and services.

The central element of the Hévíz public bike system is that the 4 existing docking stations (with 56 stands) are located in popular areas at sufficient distance from each other. According to the plans, the fleet, consisting of 30 bicycles in the beginning, can be rented at the rental terminals or directly at the docking stations.  

In the first period, the bicycles are free of charge to use after registration.
