The Local Government of Hévíz submitted an application – based on the chapter “School and Junior sports infrastructure development and renovation” of 7/2011 (III. 09.) Regulation of the Ministry of Interior - for the construction of a multifunctional sports field on the property under the topographical number 1455/79 and won an 11,644,000 HUF subsidy.
In Semmelweis Street, Hévíz, a 44 x 22 m multifunctional sports field has been built to replace the original sports field, which was covered with asphalt more than 20 years ago, and, which is almost unsuitable for doing sports and involves a risk of accidents. The new sports field includes the following fields and courts: a handball and football field (20 x 40 m), a tennis court (18 x 36 m), a basketball court (15 x 28 m) and a volleyball court (9 x 18 m).
The sports field cover has been made of flexible plastic, which is especially suitable for outdoor sports, it provides easy movement, and has a secure, non-slip surface.
Lighting has been established around the field.

According to the provisions of the support contract, there is also an opportunity to employ 2 public workers for a total of 7 months.
