The project can be divided into three main parts:

  1. Hévíz, construction of the local bus route centre

The area of the planned implementation can be found on the eastern part of the town, north of the Main Car Park, next to the Flavius Shopping Centre, under the topographical lot number 1627/7. The substructure works have to be carried out taken into account that the building site is situated in a peat bed (protection against swamp, building preservation).  The protected marshland area was localized by the nature conservation authority, this area is not affected by the proposed development.
In connection with the planned development, an internal and an external bus lay-by (both of them for 2 buses) set up for public road, a bus turnaround and a reception building as superstructure, as well as a rain protection roof over the outdoor waiting area will be established. In connection with the service, car parks will be needed. Parking will be available in the public car park of the town next to the planning area.
It is planned to make pedestrian areas and the building complex accessible for the disabled. One accessible parking space will be established on the site. A ticket office, an information office, a drivers’ lounge, a toilet for the staff and public toilet blocks are planned in the reception building. In the public toilet block, a female toilet, a male toilet with urinals, and a lavatory with cold and hot water supply will be established.  There will also be a toilet for the disabled with cold and hot water supply. The heating and hot water supply of the building will be provided by a room sealed boiler located in the drivers’ lounge. The protective roof will be used for protecting people waiting for the bus, depending on the size of the bus, it will provide protection against rain for people getting on and off the bus in case of at least 1 bus. The protective roof is a steel-framed superstructure, built on deep foundation, with prefabricated building sturctures and partition structures. Surfaces protecting from the wind, seating benches will be placed under the protective roof at several points. Bike racks for 20 bicycles will be installed in the covered zone.

  1. Modernisation of bus stops in Hévíz

The inter-town regular bus line number 6383 plays an important role in serving the settlement. Eventually, it is equivalent to local transport, although, it is subject to interurban rules regarding the rates. On school days four bus services, in school breaks two bus services operate.
In the course of the project, the plan is to renovate 10 pairs of existing bus bays and establish 1 new bus stop in order to develop local transport.
The construction is designed to modernise bus stops, to eliminate the unevenness of the road and the pavement surface in the surroundings of the bus stops, to renovate the surface, to establish the drainage standardisedly, to improve the cross-sectional characteristics of the road, thereby to create better travel comfort conditions and service levels for transport users.
